Reinvigorate and grow.

These two verbs have become exceedingly more relevant and prevalent in my life since the initial COVID-19 lockdown. A blessing in disguise.

With the immense hardship and sorrow that so many people are facing on a daily basis as a result of the present pandemic, one is forced to wonder, what good can come out of this? What progress can we make as a society as a result of these difficulties?

Reinvigoration and growth.

That’s my best answer to those questions. The hustle and bustle of life before the pandemic had limited our ability to do the things we love. To challenge ourselves. To create new experiences.

We became immune to change. The same routine. The same people. The same places. Little did I realize how the familiarity in my life was the enemy of my progress. Until now.

So, coming to this realization, what did I do?

I cooked.

I rekindled my relationship with books.

I focused on spiritual growth. But most importantly, I began a search deep within to reignite my passions, and embarked on a journey of commitment to extend myself for the purpose of nurturing my development.

We all have our own urge to grow. Yet, each of us, acting on this urge, are fighting against our own resistance.

I have never been more ready and excited to combat my own resistance. To make time for what I love. And to nurture myself.

Now is the time. So why don’t you join me? I promise, you won’t regret it.
