As the summer winds down, I can’t help but think of how quarantine has taught us so much about ourselves and the people around us.

One of the important things everyone agrees on is that we all have become more observant toward the little things in our lives and more thankful to what’s around us, especially small acts of love like random texts from loved ones and short walks at night with siblings.

A lot of people I know are working on themselves and experiencing personal growth during at a time like this.

Personally, I have grown so much in the past few months of quarantine, I’ve learned to be thankful for both the people I have in my life and the people I’ve lost throughout the process of growing and loving myself.

At the end of the day, I’m proud of the person I’m becoming, and the growth I’ve seen in so many people around me. I’m genuinely thankful for quarantine.
